Countdown to your dream wedding There’s so much to think about and so much to do, it’s hard to know where to start. This is where experience counts. Our expert Event/Wedding Management Team will help, advise and take away the stress of booking the venue, photography and even the menu. Following your instructions, our consultant will help you to design the setting for your banquet, talk you through the many optional centrepieces and ?ower arrangements available and, most importantly, discuss a mouth-watering menu of authentic North Indian and Punjabi cuisine, which is available to taste, from our own in-house catering service. But first, we have a few key options that you will need to consider before progressing:

• Decide date of wedding (ideally 12 to 18 months before the event)
• Make a provisional booking with the Nasib Catering Wedding Consultant
• Decide the number of guests to be invited • Check availability of Registrar
• Select desired venue and book • Order bridesmaids’ dresses and wedding clothing • Book photographer/videographer
• Book cars and transport
• Order invitations and stationery
• Choose your cake maker and place your order • Discuss budgetary requirements.

Six months to go

• Send out invitations
• Confirm number of guests
• Approve menu and ask guests for any special dietary requests
• Order printed menus
• Order flowers and table decorations
• Visit Nasib Catering kitchens to approve banqueting arrangements
• Finalise number of staff and waiters required
• Approve wedding clothing orders
• Book DJ or musicians
• Register your gift list
• Choose wedding dress and accessories
• Choose bridesmaids’ dresses

Two months to go

• Pre wedding meeting with Nasib Wedding Consultant
• Confirm venue booking and issue any special instructions
• Confirm all bookings for transport, flowers, musicians, etc.
• Confirm budgets and approve any ordered extras
• Check with your cake maker and approve design
• Order any gifts and room decorations
• Choose your wedding rings

Three weeks to go

• Meet with Nasib Catering to taste and give final approval to menu
• Confirm all orders are to be delivered on time and on budget
• Confirm all guests’ hotel bookings
• Make sure your cake is completed and ready for delivery
• Give florist total number of buttonholes and table centres required

One week to go

• Confrm everything is in hand with Nasib Wedding Consultant
• Deal with any last-minute changes, e.g. guests dropping out etc.
• Finalise table plan

On the day

• Relax and enjoy one of the most memorable days of your life; remember we are here to take care of everything.
